Principal's Corner

Greetings! My name is Tim Vagts and I’m the principal of Weymouth Elementary. I graduated from Central Michigan University for both my Bachelors and Masters degrees. I have been at Weymouth Elementary for many years and am proud to be associated with the staff, students and parents that make up the Weymouth Family. I have been in education for close to thirty years and have never lost my joy of teaching. I think I found what I want to do when I grow up.

I have been married to my wife Laurel for 28 years. We have two children, Jacob and Emily. Jacob is an architect and Emily is a photographer. Since both of our children live out of state, there is not enough time to see them as much as we would like. Therefore, we spend our time pursuing our hobbies of exercising, reading and enjoying nature. As principal of Weymouth Elementary, I welcome you and look forward to meeting you in the future.

Secretaries Corner

Mrs. St. John is Weymouth’s secretary. She has worked for Charlotte Public Schools for nine years. Prior to that she was a secretary at Oldsmobile (B.O.C.) in Lansing where she worked for twenty-two years. She has 6 children and is married to her high school sweetheart, Richard St. John. Lisa Hoyt is her oldest and is a third grade teacher at Parkview. Steven is a lawyer in Indianapolis, Sara is a student at L.C.C., Daniel is a student at Grand Valley, Brian is a junior at CHS and Stephanie is a freshman at CHS. Mrs. St. John also graduated from Charlotte Public Schools and attended M.S.U. Besides going to all of her children’s activities, she enjoys spending time scrap booking. She also enjoys spending her days with the wonderful staff and students at Weymouth.
