Philosophy

It is our belief that all students have the right to talent development.  Each person is unique and we, as a school district must
provide opportunities to develop that uniqueness. Providing opportunities for Gifted and Talented students who demonstrate
talent in academics, creativity and or leadership is a basic part of our commitment to our school community.

The purpose of this program is to stimulate and develop the life-long learning processes of students in our school district.  It is
our belief that these students should be challenged to develop their abilities for both personal fulfillment and for the benefit of
society.  It is our view that talent development students are in need of opportunities that takes into consideration individual
learning styles and special abilities.
