School Closings

When the Charlotte Public Schools considers driving conditions hazardous because of inclement weather, they may run their regular bus runs two hours later. In this case, school will start at 10:45 and there would be no morning Kindergarten or morning Young Fives classes. At times, school is cancelled due to the weather. If you wish to check on school closings, you can contact the Charlotte Public Schools 24-hour Activity Line at 541-5746. Announcements regarding cancellations and delays will also be carried by the following radio and television stations.
