News The Galewood School Community looks forward to the 27th Annual Science Day, held on October 23, 2008. Over 15 community members present interactive opportunities for all Galewood students to learn how science is found in everyday life. Presenters include vetenarians, doctors, nurses, dental assistants, entomologists, botanists, geologists, civil engineers, and more share their stories of how education prepared them for their careers incorporating science and math. Our students' learning experience is greatly enhanced by this engaging day and excites them to focus in school as well as to set and reach for goals perhaps not imagined before.
