Welcome to the Charlotte Middle School website! My name is Wayne Brown, and I am Charlotte Middle School’s principal. Whether you are already a member of our school community or are interested in learning more about us as a prospective student, teacher, or parent, we hope that this site will enable you to get a glimpse of the CMS experience.
Middle School is a time of transition and change for the developing adolescent. We aim to develop students with the attitudes, skills, and motivation necessary to become successful lifelong learners that are creative, independent, and problem solvers. Furthermore, our staff is dedicated to guiding students towards a positive self-image and a healthy lifestyle. Students gain knowledge from all subjects through areas of educational interaction and apply it to their lives.
We provide not only academic quality, but also encourage opportunities to build character, strengthen leadership skills, and mold good citizens. Students at Charlotte Middle School take advantage of extra curricular activities that include Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, Rachel’s Challenge, Recycling, Chess Club, and more.
While we encourage you to explore our programs on this website, there is simply no substitute for witnessing our school first hand. Therefore, I am proud to invite you to experience the Charlotte Middle School community and meet our remarkable students and staff. You will see us working, learning, and exploring. |
