Dr. Nancy A. Hipskind

Superintendent

As of October 1, 2007, Dr. Hipskind began as the new superintendent of Charlotte Public Schools.  Over the past 27 years she has been employed in Indiana and Wisconsin beginning as a teacher and then going on to serve in the positions of Guidance Counselor, Assistant Principal, Principal, Assistant Superintendent and as Superintendent in two different school districts. 

Dr. Hipskind attended Indiana University where she received three of her degrees which include a Bachelors of Science degree in Health and PE, a Masters of Science degree in Secondary Administration, and an Educational Specialist degree in School Administration.  She then attended Indiana State University and received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Education Administration.

Dr. Hipskind and her husband, Jim, have located to the Charlotte School District.  They have two grown children.
