Mark Rosekrans, Associate Superintendent for Operations
Associate Superintendent for Operations Mark D. Rosekrans heads the Operations Office that includes the – Buildings and Grounds, Transportation, and Food Service departments. Each of these departments takes great pride in creating an environment and providing services in our district where students, staff and community members will feel comfortable, safe and welcome. Mr. Rosekrans attended Northern Michigan University and Central Michigan University for his undergraduate and graduate studies, respectively. A variety of positions in
the field of education have been part of Mr. Rosekrans’ work experience.
Mark began his career in education as an
industrial/technology/vocational teacher in the Lansing School District.
He later served Waverly Community Schools in the same capacity.
Mark coached football and track and served as the middle school
athletic director while at Waverly. Mark
originally served as an assistant principal at Mark has professional affiliation with the Michigan School Business Officials (MSBO). He recently completed the voluntary certification track through MSBO in the chief facilities directors’ curriculum. Mark was the CPS district representative for the 1999 and 2002 bond construction projects. All of the bond projects were very successful and will bring years of teaching and learning opportunities for all students at all district facilities. Mark and his wife Carolyn (Carrie) have two children, Makayla and Connor. Spending quality time with Carrie, Makayla and Connor is very important to Mark. Mark’s interests outside the school district include hunting, fishing, travel, attending sporting events, and landscaping.
